The Boys Basketball team will be playing in the 1st round of the District III playoffs. Next Wednesday, February 17th, the team faces the Bearcats from William Penn High School, York.
The doors open at 6:00pm. Tickets are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students and Seniors.

MONDAY MARCH 23rd
The Boys Tennis Team took their first loss of the season. See the story here.
TUESDAY MARCH 24th
The Boys, and Girls, Track team both started off the season with wins. The teams traveled to Mifflin County to take on the Huskies. The boys team won 93-57 and the Lady Herd won 112-38.
The Baseball and Softball teams both lost to Cedar Cliff in shortened games. Baseball lost 1-3 and Softball 0-12.
Boys Lacrosse held off visiting Lower Dauphin 8-7. Drew Amsley led the scoring with 3 goals. Devin Stossmeister added 2 goals and Derrick Coleman, Ryan Godfrey, and Tim Roesler added 1 goal each. Matt Fuller had 9 saves in goal for the Herd.
Girls Lacrosse traveled to Lower Dauphin and came home with a 13-5 win. Scoring for the Lady Herd were Jamie Frohm(4 goals), Renee Morrow (3), Hannah Getz (2), Megan Quattrone (2). Makenzie Moran and E. Reisinger and 1 goal each.
Boys Volleyball defeated the visiting Northern Polar Bears 3-0, with match scores of 25-18, 25-11, 25-19.
THURSDAY MARCH 26th
The Softball and Baseball teams both dropped games to Central Dauphin. The Baseball team lost 1-7 and the Softball team lost 0-4.
Boys Volleyball took on the Cedar Cliff Colts, in Gene Evans Gymnasium, and came away with a 3-0 victory. They won the match in three sets 25-13, 25-18, and 25-15.
The Boys & Girls Lacrosse teams continued their winning ways as both team defeated Palmyra. The Boys team traveled to Palmyra and came back home with a 7-6 victory. George Faller lead the scoring with 4 goals and Derrick Coleman, Justin Moore, and Adin Zagorica each had a goal. Goalie Matt Fuller had 5 saves. The girls hosted Palmyra and defeated the Cougars 9-8. Renee Morrow and Megan Quattrone lead the Lady Herd with 3 goals each, and Jamie Frohm, Hannah Getz and Megan Godfrey each added a goal. Makayla Moffet had 6 saves in goal.
FRIDAY MARCH 27th
The Boys Tennis team got back on the winning track with a won over Red Land, 3-2. Justin Yuen was the sole winner in singles matches. he defeated Red Land’s Mark Florig, 6-0, 6-0. Ben Hicks lost to Peter Landis 6-0, 6-0 and Mitchell Greene lost to Andrew Otto 6-2, 6-4. Carlisle took both doubles matches. The team of Anders Bergsten/Josh Denlinger won 6-0, 6-3 and Scott Bowser/Ben Ulrich won 6-1, 6-1.
SATURDAY MARCH 28th
The track teams traveled to Chambersburg to participate in the Tim Cook Invitational. he teams had a good showing for this event. Placing for the Herd were:
Isa Paschall – 1st in 100m(11.24), 3rd in Long Jump (19’4″), and 3rd in Triple Jump (41’9″).
Matt Wisner – 1st in 800m (2:00.87)
Zach Brehm – 2nd in 800m (2:02.60)
Deshawn Millington – 2nd in Long Jump (19’6.50″) and 1st in Triple Jump (46’3.50″)
The boys also took 2nd in both the 4×100 relay and the 4×400 relay
Lady Herd who placed were:
Maddie Kole – 1st in the 800m (2:27.17)
Caitlyn Padgett – 2nd in the 3200m (11:51.08)
Najae Nikerson – 2nd in the300IH (49.67)
Jilian Ingram – 3rd in the High Jump (4’10”)
Sarah Bourdan – 1st in Pole Vault (10’6″)
Cassidy Hoover – 2nd in Long Jump (15’5.75″)
The team also took 3rd in the 4×100 relay (50.40) and 2nd in the 4×400 relay (4:17.27) and 4×800 (10:31.30)
MONDAY MARCH 23, 2015 – CARLISLE HIGH SCHOOL
The Boy’s Tennis team dropped their first match of the season to the visiting Central Dauphin Rams. Losing in singles play were Ben Hicks (1-6, 2-6), Mitchell Greene (1-6, 2-6), and Justin Yuen (0-6, 2-6). In doubles play Noah Beck and Ben Ulrich lost (3-6, 0-6) and Anders Bergsten and Josh Denlinger lost (1-6, 2-6). The team is now 2-1 overall and 1-1 in league play.

The Boys Tennis team traveled to Cedar Cliff and defeated the Colts 4-1. In singles play, Ben Hicks defeated Owen Shenk , 6-3, 6-2 and Justin Yuen won over Dean Pandeleras, 6-2, 6-1. Mitchell Greene lost to Mark Shultz 6-3, 6-3. Carlisle took both doubles matches. Noah Beck / Ben Ulrich downed Buddy Arnold / Victor Catalaio, 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 and the combination of Anders Bergsten / Josh Denlinger defeated P.J. Beauduy / Zach Swidler, 6-2, 6-3.
The team is now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the league.

The Boys Tennis team kicked off the 2015 season with a 5-0 win over visiting Northern Polar Bears. Winning in singles competition for the Herd was Ben Hicks (6-2, 6-1), Mitchell Greene (6-0, 6-0), and Justin Yuen (6-0, 6-0). In double matches the teams of Anders Bergsten/Josh Denlinger (6-0, 6-3) and Noah Beck/Ben Ulrich (6-1, 6-0) won. The team’s next match is Wednesday March 18th at Cedar Cliff.
